It’s no secret that Greece is one of my favourite holiday destinations. What isn’t there to love? It’s the landscape, nature and food that always draws me back to the mainland and small islands- and visiting Corfu only reaffirmed my love for the warm, picturesque land. I began my trip with a cruise around the Greek isles and a short stay in Kuşadasi, Turkey, and ended it with a week stay in the Marbella Corfu Hotel- which is hands down one of the prettiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Of course the interior of the hotel lived up to it’s five star reputation, but it was the exterior that looked like it had been plucked straight from atlantis and placed on a beach-front hill.

Whilst I loved and enjoyed every aspect of my trip to Corfu, I do feel as though I saw a large majority of what the Island had to offer. Perhaps if I were to return, I’d instead stay in an apartment to gain an authentic opinion of the island rather than from a tourist’s perspective. I typically tend to avoid the usual tourist spots as there’s so many times that I can browse through little boutiques selling I ❤ Greece mugs and t-shirts, but the more local areas seemed harder to come across and I wasn’t very successful it getting directions (Note to self: brush up on your Greek speaking skills).

Here are a few pictures that I took during my stay…
