Manifestation can be compared to the Law of Attraction; the often spiritual essence of manifestation teaches us that the energies that we exert can often return to us in the form of things we desire, that being happiness, money, love or maybe even that promotion you’ve been longing for.
I’ve touched on the subject of body image, and how body positivity can turn sour before; since then, I’ve discovered a whole new aspect to social media, in which women support other women being put down on particular accounts in the name of body positivity. The accounts sole purpose are to ‘reveal the truth’ on celebrities and women, by posting their best pictures and their un-deited ‘worst’ pictures side by side, in order for other women in the comment section to ridicule them and subsequently feel better about themselves.
The truth is, the relationships we have with ourselves are far more important than the ones we have with anyone else- yet it is the one we often fail to see the importance in more than any other. Self care and self love allows us to find time to heal and find happiness within ourselves, amid the chaos that life tends to throw at us…
